Annual filings: Key updates

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has rolled out Version 3 changes, streamlining compliance and enhancing disclosures for companies.

Key highlights:

- AOC‑4: Integrated Auditor/Board reports, unified standalone & consolidated filing, pre‑filled prior year data, higher attachment limits, and offline Excel mode

- MGT‑7/7A: Excel‑based shareholder data uploads, registered office photo verification, embedded MGT‑8, and enhanced privacy for shareholder data.

- AOC‑4 (14‑Jul‑2025): Specified Bank Notes field still exists, but no disclosure needed – mark ‘No/Nil

These updates aim to simplify filing, improve data transparency, and support companies under CIRP/liquidation.
